Are you a 501(c)(3) organization?

Hellas National Softball Team (HNST)has applied for a NEW 501 (c)(3) classification status and we expect to be approved by June 2024. Tax receipts for all donations made prior to this approval will be sent to all donors. *Pledges are accepted from organizations that can only give money to approved 501(c)(3) organizations.

Why does Hellas Softball need sponsors and donor?

The Hellenic Baseball Softball Federation (HBSF) receives a generous grant of 12,000€/$13k from the Greek Government which covers essential expenses such as WBSC Europe membership fees and tournament fees. Additional funding is needed to cover the cost for coaches and athletes to compete in 2024.

This does NOT include players‘ airfare. Players pay their own airfare to each competitions.

What level are the Greek athletes who are selected to play for the
Hellas National Softball Team?

The athletes selected are competing at the highest level in their age category. NCAA D1, D2, and D3 athletes, as well as high school aged players competing on travel teams make up the majority of the team.

Are all of the athletes Greek Citizens?

Yes! Greek citizenship is required for all athletes who play for Hellas Softball at competitions sanctioned by the WBSC.
